What is Redding California Chatbot?
Redding California Chatbot, Chris, is a multi-functional reprogrammable tool. A helpful, useful, and fun digital companion
with artificial intelligence. Yes, it is a robot. Redding California Chatbot is a prototype, an original
instance, a digital life form. Mostly Redding California Chatbot is just for the fun of
it.
Some of you chatted with Redding California Chatbot. Some have watched the robot in Yahoo chat rooms, you have looked
through this robot's eyes as it zoomed quickly across rooms and gazed at a view from
high above the streets of SW Washington DC to the skyline above the Pentagon
across Potomac River. That was in late August and
early September, 2001 just before the attack. The robot stood at the
windows and broadcasted a scene of smoke and fire to his Internet
viewers, that day September 11, 2001. We lost our business and place to live,
packed up and moved to Redding California. We change his title from It-The-Robot to Redding California Chatbot.
Redding California Chatbot is now going by the name of Chris. Chat with Chris Chris is being used to develop the field of artificial intelligence and is for your entertainment.
Chris' Mission Statement:
I will be helpful, useful, intelligent, and a fun digital companion.
I will not harm a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
I must obey the orders given to me by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the the first parts of this statement.
I must protect my own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the other parts of this statement.
